Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA / UK) to create an account. You're responsible for the security of your sign-in credentials and for everything that happens on your account. Notify us immediately at support@easysub.io if you suspect unauthorised use.

Subject to these Terms and your payment of any applicable fees, CET (Thailand) Co., Ltd. grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose — transcribing, captioning, translating, and dubbing your own videos.

Apple App Store version: this licence is granted by us, not by Apple. The licence between you and Apple in respect of the iOS app is limited to a non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Usage Rules in the Media Services Terms and Conditions.

You may not, and you may not permit any third party to:

• Upload content you don't own or have permission to process (e.g. copyrighted material, content depicting other people without their consent).
• Use the Service to produce, distribute, or facilitate child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, hate speech, or content inciting violence.
• Clone a voice belonging to a real person without that person's explicit, documented consent.
• Resell, sublicense, or pass through the Service as a hosted offering of your own without a written agreement with us.
• Attempt to bypass quota, rate-limit, or watermarking mechanisms; reverse-engineer the service; or scrape it.
• Use the Service to send spam, perform credential stuffing, or distribute malware.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

You retain all ownership rights to the video, audio, captions, and other content you upload (your "Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process, store, and transmit your Content as needed to provide the Service to you — for example, sending the audio track to OpenAI for transcription, saving the resulting captions in our database, and serving them back to you.

This licence is non-exclusive and ends when you delete the Content or your account, except where retention is required by law (e.g. invoice records).

We never use your Content to train third-party AI models. OpenAI and ElevenLabs, our sub-processors, are configured with zero-retention API access (or the equivalent setting offered) so that your audio and text are not retained on their end beyond the immediate processing window.

Free plan. Includes a monthly quota with watermarked exports. No card required; no auto-charge.

Paid subscriptions. Recurring monthly subscriptions, billed in advance. Your card is charged at the start of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from /account — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Top-up packs. One-time purchases that grant bonus credits plus 30 days of tier features. They do not auto-renew. Bonus credits stack with your monthly quota and do not expire while the account remains active.

Taxes. Prices shown exclude taxes unless explicitly stated. Where applicable VAT will be added at checkout. Thai customers will receive a tax invoice on request.

Failed payments. If we can't charge your payment method, your plan will downgrade to Free after a short grace period. Saved projects are not deleted.

Refunds. See our Refund Policy.

Subscriptions and top-ups purchased through Apple's App Store or Google Play are billed by Apple or Google under their own terms and the price tier displayed in the store at the time of purchase. Subscription management — renewal, change, cancellation — for those purchases is done from the user's Apple ID Subscriptions screen or Google Play Subscriptions screen, not from EasySub. We can see the entitlement status but cannot directly cancel or refund a store purchase on your behalf.

Where the iOS app is downloaded from the App Store, you acknowledge that: (a) these Terms are between you and us, not Apple; (b) Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance and support; (c) in the event of a claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty you may notify Apple, who will refund the purchase price (if any) — Apple has no other warranty obligation; (d) Apple is not responsible for product claims, including any claim related to consumer protection, privacy, or intellectual property; (e) Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before publishing or relying on it. We make no warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. EasySub is not a substitute for professional translation, transcription, or accessibility services.

Output may incorporate copyrighted phrasing if your source audio contains such phrasing. You are responsible for your own copyright clearance.

The EasySub name, logo, brand assets, and the software that powers the Service are owned by CET (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and protected by Thai and international IP laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our marks except to identify the Service in user content.

You can terminate at any time by deleting your account at /account/delete. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, fail to pay, or remain inactive for an extended period. Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) will continue to apply after termination.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CET (THAILAND) CO., LTD.'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 100. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limits on liability — in those jurisdictions the above applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Bangkok, Thailand, except where this is not permitted by applicable consumer-protection law in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
